Hey folks, since it's been occurring a lot recently, I'm just putting it out there that I do not take part in clubs on this site, nor do I want my art featured in them.. So please don't send me invites or w/e as I'll more than likely deny them.
Used to take part in them, but really I'm lazy and I don't keep up with them as I don't like getting my inbox filled with (for the most part) not so great art.

By recommendation of many, I watched Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs the other day, and I gotta say, I'm disappointed in myself for not seeing it in theaters! It's a really funny movie (written by the guys that did Clone High [which is hilarious, btw]), and while not a 100% faithful to the book (really, how can it with a full length film?), it's very enjoyable. I think the humor aided a lot to it and without it, I doubt it'd be as good as it is.
It's not the best animated film of the year, no sirree - my vote goes to UP, Secret of Kells, Coraline, and Princess & The Frog (I WISH they could all win). But it's still worth watching!!!

Also Neil Patrick Harris voices a spider monkey. If that's not enough initiative, I don't know what is.

And Mark Mothersbaugh. I want him to do the theme music to my life <3

Hope everybody had a nice holiday!!! It always seems to breeze by quickly.

I finally got a PS3 so I was able to play Batman: Arkham Asylum, which I've had for about 5 months. Yes, I bought a $100 game before I knew I was getting the console for it. I'm an impulse buyer, sue me.
Fun Fact: I know the guy that did the doodles on the AA journal that came with the Collector's Edition

Also got some Pixar movies on Blu-ray (Monster's Inc, UP, and A Bug's Life), along with the Plastic Man: Complete Collection dvd. I'll hopefully get around to watching that tomorrow~

And every Disney fan needs to purchase The Art of The Disney Princess book. OH MY GAWD IT'S GORGEOUS. It's a compilation of all these different artist renditions of the Disney princesses; there's some truly beautiful work in there. It's a must-have!!!

On the convention front, I won't be going to Katsucon anymore. I need to save money for my car, and for my SDCC trip so...

And here I thought my Disney Princess Advent calendar was lying! The other one with the chocolate, I don't pay attention to. I just nab the chocolate.

I...kinda finished my Xmas shopping...? Maybe? I always feel like a lousy shopper and need to get more, but when you have a crummy job like me, there's not much you can get :/

I need to do a holiday picture, but I'm blanking as to what. Probably something Disney... (don't give me ideas, I'm just thinking aloud to myself.)

I'm gonna start doing some updates over here [link] since all the cool kids seem to have a blogger. I've had the account for about 2 years now, but never posted anything to it. It'll mostly be in-progress stuff, and maybe some voice demos and junk.

My Metalwork/Jewelry prof seemed to like my pieces and didn't burn me for not having a 4th final piece (needed 4 total). I'll take some photos of those, eventually.

Tomorrow is Illustration and Apparel Design, and I'll be sure to share those here, as well. My illustration one, I'm just gonna share the actual illustrations and not the text that goes along, since I know that'll stir something up and I wanna avoid that. You'll see.
My dress I made for Apparel Design is SUPER cute and I'm very pleased with it!!!


I plan on seeing Princess and the Frog a few more times, because it's sooo worth seeing multiple times, imo. And I wanna be there to share the Disney magic with my friends/family
